This is the application of a plastic coating with heat and vacuum to a photograph or print. This process is widely used in the photographic industry as eliminates the requirement of glass. This also makes it safer for public areas and childrens nurseries etc. This application should not be used on Ltd edition prints or works of value as it is not reversable. The overlaying coating is available in varying texture finishes such as canvas / linen effect or crackle glaze etc.
