Stacked / Gallery Framing
This is the method of building up a frame to give greater depth and is basically a series of frames or Liners and slips stacked on top of each other giving a variety of effects which helps lead the eye in towards the image. Seen on the left starting from the outside is a black reverse angle moulding rim, next is a cream scoop liner, then a black slip with finally a beveled cream liner.
